Social at the National Folklife Festival
Sunday, September 9, 2018
11 am – 12 pm
Join members of the Middle Atlantic Folklife Association (MAFA) for a morning social at 11 am on Sunday, September 9, at the National Folk Festival in Salisbury, MD. We'll gather in the "Chesapeake Traditions" narrative stage tent on Market Street, just adjacent to Market Street Inn. Come hungry! Smith Island cake and coffee will be served. Plan to stay afterwards for a narrative stage session at 12 pm about documenting Maryland folklife. To see the festival's full lineup, visit www.nationalfolkfestival.com. Special thanks to Lora Bottinelli at the Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art, Salisbury University and Chad Buterbaugh at Maryland Traditions for helping to organize.
